  Short version: Notable stores your game progress and scores locally in your browser. We don't collect personal information to play the game. If you contact us or make a purchase, we collect only what's necessary to provide that service.

This Privacy Policy describes how Notable ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use notablegame.com (the "Game").

1. Information We Collect

1a. Information Stored Locally (Your Device Only)

Notable stores the following data in your browser's localStorage — this data never leaves your device and we cannot access it:

Your current game progress (grid state, timer, correct answers)
Your daily puzzle completion times
Your streak count
Your leaderboard scores
Whether you've seen the rules (first visit)

1b. Information You Voluntarily Provide

If you submit a name suggestion through our suggestion form (powered by Google Forms), we collect:

The name you suggest
Your reason for the suggestion
The category you select

This information is stored in Google's systems and subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

1c. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit Notable, our hosting provider (Vercel) may automatically collect:

Your IP address
Browser type and version
Pages visited and time spent
Referring URL

This data is used for security and performance purposes and is subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.

2. Cookies and Tracking

Notable uses browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your game data locally. We do not use tracking cookies for our own purposes.

If we display advertisements through Google AdSense, Google may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ad Settings.

We use the information we collect to:

Name suggestions submitted through Google Forms are retained until we delete them from our Google account.
